Tell me about Outside Circle Collective - OCC ( an art collective )...

The Outside Circle Collective is a web -based community centered around the creation and apportion of art. Our goal is to produce, promote, and project the creative output, whatever that may be for each member on an individual level (i.e. music, design, visual or written art, spoken language and performance, however, not limited to these mediums).

Through this group, we hope to bring together artists with differing viewpoints, mediums, and outlets for their creative energy in order to diversify our art and ways of thinking and to essentially open our minds.

At the core of this exchange lies the Outside Circle community weblog.

A Weblog or blog can take many forms.

• It can be a personal journal about current events or thoughts.
• It can be a forum where users can post articles that are interesting or worth discussing.
• It can be a place to see what others are talking about.

We think that weblogs are an excellent way to:

• communicate in small groups
• stimulate discussions
• create a rich collection of entertaining, interesting and informative posts

How does this work?

You can use the rich-text editor to compose entries. The use of code or knowledge of special formatting is unnecessary; just paste the desired content or create your own, and the entry editor will take care of the rest.

You can classify entries as "private", which only you can view. Posted entries are stored in "My Weblog", and will show up in "Community Log" if they are released.
