not to belabor the point...

...but does anyone else find the fact that CBS refused the and peta ad campaigns in favor of flatulating equines (and in the single most recent proof to me that there is a god with a sense of humor and of poetic justice) to instead be slapped with perhaps the single largest FCC fine in recent history for the janet/justin fiasco too funny for words.  not that any member of the occ actually saw said event (at least not while watching the superbowl), but I bet CBS wishes they had's $875,000 right about now.

p.s.  all kidding aside, the peta spot (and the director's cut)  is one of the funniest things i have viewed recently!

Just watched the movie "American Splendor," about comic book writer Harvey Pekar. He used to be a regular guest on Letterman, until he took them to task on the air for their ties to the Military Industrial Complex. Speech is free, sure.
